Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to lead a nature writing workshop with the Golden Eagle Audubon Society at the Foothills Learning Center.

The workshop featured bird-themed writing prompts inspired by the environmental writing of Diane Ackerman, J. Drew Lanham, and Sandra Beasley.

We began indoors, then moved outside to write while exploring the Foothills Learning Center grounds in the beautiful spring weather. Participants were enthusiastic about both the workshop and the writing they created!
